  • Author: Ella
  • Total Time: 50 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

These Big Mac Wraps are a delicious twist on a classic favorite, featuring layers of savory beef, fresh vegetables, and a creamy secret sauce. Perfect for a quick dinner or a fun gathering with friends!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large tortilla wraps
  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • Lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Cucumbers, sliced
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the special sauce. In a bowl, mix ½ cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp mustard, 2 tbsp finely chopped pickles, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir the mixture well and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 500 g ground beef and cook, stirring frequently, until evenly browned, about 8-10 minutes. Add the finely chopped onion and cook with the meat until soft, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. While the meat is cooking, warm the tortilla wraps in a separate skillet or microwave for about 15-20 seconds to make them more flexible and easier to wrap.
  4. On each tortilla wrap, place a handful of washed and dried lettuce leaves. Spoon a portion of the ground beef with onions on top and place a slice of cheddar cheese on it. The cheese should start to melt slightly.
  5. Add a few slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. Then, spoon a generous dollop of the special sauce over the vegetables.
  6. Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll the wrap tightly from the bottom up. Make sure the filling doesn't fall out and press the ends together lightly.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining wraps. You should have a total of four wraps.
  8. The finished Big Mac Wraps can be served immediately. Alternatively, you can lightly toast them in a grill pan or contact grill for a crispier texture, about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

Keywords: To ensure optimal texture, make sure to brown the ground beef well for a nice crumbly texture. Avoid stirring the meat too early to achieve good browning. You can adjust the amount of mustard in the special sauce for more spice or reduce the mayonnaise for a lighter sauce. Always warm the tortilla wraps before filling to prevent them from breaking.
