Ingredients
Scale
- 1 Egg
- 15 g Flour
- 20 g Protein powder (chocolate)
- 5 g Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 50 ml Milk
- 250 g Low-fat quark
- to taste Flavor powder (vanilla)
- 40 g Dark chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, crack the egg and whisk it well until frothy, about 1-2 minutes.
- Add the flour, protein powder, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix thoroughly until no lumps remain, about 2-3 minutes.
- Pour the milk into the mixture and stir until everything is well combined. The batter should be smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the low-fat quark with the flavor powder (vanilla) until creamy.
- Fill an oven-safe bowl or dish with the batter mixture and create a small well in the center for the quark.
- Add the low-fat quark into the well and spread it evenly. You can also spread some quark on the edges for more flavor.
- Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and sprinkle them on top of the quark layer.
- Bake the bowl for 10-12 minutes in the preheated oven. It’s done when the edges are firm but the center jiggles slightly. Check after 10 minutes.
- After baking, remove the bowl from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.

Keywords: Avoid adding too much flour as it can make the bowl dry. Use a high-quality baking dish for even heat distribution. Experiment with different protein powders for varied flavors. If you prefer a sweeter bowl, add some honey or agave syrup without drastically increasing calories.
