Description

Indulge in the rich flavors of Creamy Onion Chicken, featuring tender chicken breasts enveloped in a luscious sauce. This comforting dish is perfect for family gatherings and will surely evoke cherished memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 large onions
  • 200 ml cream
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Begin by rinsing the chicken breast fillets and patting them dry with kitchen paper. Slice the onions into thin rings, which should take about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium heat. The oil is ready when it shimmers slightly, about 2 minutes.
  3. Place the chicken breast fillets in the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Be careful not to leave them in the pan too long to avoid drying out.
  4. Add the sliced onions to the pan and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are soft and lightly browned. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  5. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of paprika powder over the onions and chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything well and let it sauté for another minute.
  6. Pour 200 ml of cream into the pan and stir everything well. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken breast fillets are fully cooked. You know it's done when the sauce has a creamy consistency.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and garnish the dish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, ideally with your choice of side dishes. Enjoy!
