- Begin by rinsing the chicken breast fillets and patting them dry with kitchen paper. Slice the onions into thin rings, which should take about 10 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large pan over medium heat. The oil is ready when it shimmers slightly, about 2 minutes.
- Place the chicken breast fillets in the pan and fry for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Be careful not to leave them in the pan too long to avoid drying out.
- Add the sliced onions to the pan and sauté for about 5 minutes until they are soft and lightly browned. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of paprika powder over the onions and chicken. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything well and let it sauté for another minute.
- Pour 200 ml of cream into the pan and stir everything well. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and the chicken breast fillets are fully cooked. You know it's done when the sauce has a creamy consistency.
- Remove the pan from the heat and garnish the dish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately, ideally with your choice of side dishes. Enjoy!
